The 23-year-old Johansson is the current Long Drive Champion, wrestling the crown from four-year defending champion Jason Zuback. The event, held at the Palms Golf Club in Mesquite, Nevada, featured 25 mph wind gusts and a wind chill factor in the mid-40’s. Viktor claimed the crown with a winning drive of 315 yards, two feet, and 4.5 inches. Viktor participated in the finals by virtue of an amazing semi-final drive of 414 yards.

This passion for power began at the age of 11, when Viktor began playing at a local club in Sweden. Equally spectacular was his first round of golf, which included an eagle on the course's opening hole.

When Viktor is not competing, the East Carolina University graduate (magna cum laude) loves to entertain fans by hosting clinics at golf outings throughout the world. Viktor's clinics feature both a tremendous power display and a variety of trick shots. He remains the only player capable of hitting a ball through a 3/4" board. These triumphs will be the subject of a variety of publications in the coming months, including both Golf Digest and Maximum Golf.
